COSCO SHIPPING Bulk Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as COSCO SHIPPING Bulk or The Company) is an important subsidiary of CHINA COSCO SHIPPING CORPORATION LIMITED.The Company’s predecessor is CHINA COSCO BULK SHIPPING (GROUP) CO., LTD., which is subordinate to COSCO Group and China Shipping Bulk Carrier Co., Ltd., which is affiliated to China Shipping Group. After the integration and reorganization, a new chapter is open for the company on June 16th, 2016 in Guangzhou.

The history of COSCO SHIPPING Bulk can be traced back to the Huaxia Enterprise Company,which was established in Hong Kong in 1948 and the Guangzhou Branch of China Merchants Group, which was taken over in Guangzhou in 1949. (Guangzhou Branch of China Merchants Group is the predecessor of China Shipping Bulk). With the efforts of several generations, the company has become one of the moving forces in the dry bulk shipping industry.

The Company is the largest and professional bulk shipping corporation in the world, with more than 400 various types of bulk carriers and nearly 40 million DWT, loading iron ore, coal, grain and all other bulk cargoes.
